still, I am not blind to the fact that it is critical that we have a strong military to protect our country in the event that our lives and freedom are threatened. In a perfect world, we would not have to worry about insane and dangerous tyrants who threaten our country. Unfortunately, we live in a world that includes them and, frighteningly, some of these beings are powerful. As we hear rumours of reinstating a military draft, it is not enough to ignore these rumours and wish them to go away. We have to start thinking about it so we can create a potential draft that will treat everyone equally, including the children of high government. In the past military drafts, many of the rich and educated found ways to avoid being drafted. Some of the ways that they avoided being drafted were by leaving the country, using powerful influences, or enrolling in college.
