It means that particular number means something to you, your not seeing it anymore than any other number your just noticing that number more becuase its already implanted in your subconcious for some reason only you know. Dig deep your'll find the reason!

Some will say that it is by chance, and an subconscious drive for something completely random. It could be you subconsciously became obsessed with 31, which came as a result of a few minor things, i.e. the nascar and the age of your boyfriend. That is the most likely reason. The subconscious is extremely powerful, and when the clock hits 31 and you constantly see it, it could be 2 things; 1) you look at the clock a few times, but you only focus on it and sensationalize it when you see :31, whereas if you were to see another number, you wouldnt care and probably wouldnt remember it. 2) subconsciously, your brain is focused on 31, so any time that number is manifested, it will draw you toward it. Both of these are perfectly logical. Others might look at your case with a numerological perspective, and maintain that 31 is your lucky number. By all means, play the lottery with it, wear it on a bracelet; many would adapt 31 as their lucky number after your experience. Logic dictates that a lucky number is of a false notion, however, we've all had our own strange experiences, and there certainly is nothing wrong with acquiring your own, personal lucky number. Good luck!

Let me see, it could mean you are regular, tuned into it, see it as coincidence, looking for it without realizing it, a creature of habit including Obsessive Compulsive or it could be that it just happens to be the number that most often appears. Numbers like 25 and 7 are more often noticed than many others. Then again you could be fixated... I guess it comes down to .. what do you think it is?

Maybe just maybe you willing your mind to see these numbers now. When you start seeing this same number switch your mind to something else. Maybe you also need to give your clock a swift knock to separate the hands from sticking at a certain time.

For everything on earth there is a reason.

It means that you are reading something into it, and that your obsessions and compulsions are gaining strength and becoming overly intrusive into your life. What you are experiencing is pure and unadulterated coincidence, and has no relevance or meaning. Ignore it, and it will go away.

You may care to have a review of your current circumstances, and see if there are any difficult or stressful events or issues that may be causing this behaviour. The attachment of relevance to numbers or procedures is classic displacement activity with regard to unresolved issues.
