I have stumbled on that to remove maximum/all crawling/flying insects I basically make confident all the residing house windows and doors are close to that room and provides you it a heavy spray of fly killer - close the door and go away it 'sealed' for a minimum of an hour - then supply the room an excellent airing. besides the indisputable fact that your difficulty is possibly extra by way of actual incontrovertible truth that those insects layed their eggs at a previous time interior the three hundred and sixty 5 days, the circumstances in that room of course weren't conducive to the eggs hatching - yet now we are getting into the season of efficient heating and diverse forms of heating the temperature interior the rooms/flat has more suitable and the eggs are hatching.... see in case you may perceive which particular room you seem to have extra of them in - that's probably the position the eggs were laid and remained dormant. possibly to procure a secondhand piece of furnishings or carpet or rug?.... they'd nicely be yet another chance too. If the precedence seems with a rug or smallish piece of furnishings then the spray answer is analogous - except you wrap the article in plastic and seal with tape - say bin luggage - and go away them like this for an afternoon or 2 - might want to make certain your difficulty then.

You may want to try a inexpensive method like bombing the garage with te appropriate stuff. Raid makes one, as well as black flag you just have to read the boxes to see which one will suite what you are looking for. It may take 2-3 treatments for all them to go away thoroughly. An exterminator can run into big buks.. Lots of luck.

If they don't go away by themselves, they have something to eat. Check for grain, dogfood, etc. There are certain types of moths (small fly erratically) that cycle and keep coming out over time. Look for small silk tubes in the foods mentioned. Throw it out if you find anything. Wrap any new foods or grains in tight fitting plastic. Had these in my house and had to clean out all the cupboards. Found them in some rice and agin in my grage in some dog food.

get several packs of fly tape. hang them all over the garage, it will look tacky, and they are messy to deal with but they work (when they get really full of bugs, 100, wrap the strip in newspaper to dispose of easily.
it is really sticky, and you tack it to the ceiling, they will land on it and be stuck. you will catch many that way. also get several jars, punch a pencil sized hole in the top, fill the jar 1/2 way with apple cider vinegar. place them all around the garage. the moths will be attracted, crawl in the hole and not be able to get out.
I had moths in my kitchen and bedroom, yuk, took a lot of work to get rid of them. had to check every package in my pantry, they lay eggs and hatch like flies. maggotty things!

First find out what they like that's in there. They're after something. Your sweaters? Some grain or flour you'd forgotten? Once you've gotten rid of the attraction and chased them out, fog it.
