Where did that come from?

God scattered the Jewish people. I am Indian and thought that maybe I was one of the scattered Jews. I know that the Mormons believe this. Who knows? Peace out.
p.s. I use the term Indian as I was raised to be proud of being Indian. I do not know who came up with the term Native American, but I will always be Indian. My mother used to tell me that we were Indian before Indian was cool.

There are theories that Native Americans came across the piece of land that used to connect Russia and Alaska many years ago. I don't know if anyone truly thinks that they are part Jewish, either way, they are not.

Some people believe that Native Americans are part of the original Twelve Tribes of Israel. This belief has the benefit of being inclusive, but I'm not true that there is any evidence to the effect. However, there is plenty of evidence suggesting that all of humanity arose from Africa . . .

Yes, the Mormon (LDS) church is saying that the native Americans are full blooded Israelis.
Read the Book Of Mormon. You will find many interesting things in it. In other words, it's a riot (unless you prescribe to their real special believe structure).

Sigh. Maybe you are speaking about the Mormon religion which argues that Christ visited the inhabitants of North America, apparently centuries before he was born -- "the book of Mormon"? which argues that Native Americans are perhaps one of the lost tribes of Israel and proportedly have "Nephite" DNA.

Regrettably, here is the site that makes this argument: http://www.jefflindsay.com/bme13.shtml

This one refutes it:

Only people with rocks for brains. There may be a small percent that have converted for some crazy reason, but I bet you they are few and far between.

This is just one of the many things the Mormon Cult believe.

Their founder Joe Smith invented the idea. No basis at all.
