but when it comes to 9/11 they put ZERO stock in what the firefighters say when they said they heard big explosions in the lower levels or continuous explosions going up the building.

What better source of intelligence is there than the generals who are in the battle field? Perhaps you believe the Hollywood elitists have a better grip on what's going on.

You better believe the firefighters heard "big explosions" - it's called the collapse of a skyscraper - you thought maybe it would come down quietly?

The Generals have written & video intel to base their decisions on. No fear or distractions involved.
The firefighters have memories of sounds from a horrific time when their lives were in danger. Our minds often trick us esp. when fear is involved. There is no video that has the sounds they claim to have heard. My husband was convinced last night that he moved a bed in the guest room. He remembered details but I finally proved to him that I moved it. (it was crooked something he never would have done) He got ready to move the bed & moved the items around the bed but got a phone call & never moved the bed. His memories were so vivid of moving it but he did not move it. Most eye witness testimony is incorrect according to studies. Why is it so hard to believe the fire fighters were just mistaken & the more the story was repeated the more they developed vivid memories of these explosions.

Now we have been seduced into this war by Bush and Co - we have little choice with regard to the war. We simply cannot afford to lose this unwinnable war. The geo-political realities regarding energy make this a no-brainer. We have to lock up Iraq as a client state for the west. It was all about oil right from the beginning. All the rest of the silly justifications were just to provide neccessary plausible deniability regarding the US's naked aggression to satisfy national self interest The generals and strategists are right - and this comes from an unrepentent liberal against the war - but one who is pragmatic enough to realise that once we were stupidly committed the die was cast.

It is another pathetic attempt to shift the blame in the event that you know who is investigated for bringing the lives of 3500 brave troops to an early end. We know 9/11 was aided and abetted by the powers that be.

The Dem Congress will be doing a major disservice to the American people if they do not launch several investigations into the circumstances surrounding that murdereous event.

Your kidding me right?

I never denounced firefighters because they have more sense then all the libbies i have met. I trust generals because they have no agenda. they may have heard explosions, but hearing something does not make it real

because explosions doenst mean bombs. it means loud noises. When a large building with electrical and high pressure wiring and hoses fall it will make loud noises. and if you would do your research the good that is going on in Iraq shows why they know what they are talking about.

Yes, have your investigations, let congress spend all their time and our money chasing ghosts and conspiracy theories! That in itself will ensure a return of a Republican congress and white house!
