I remember FACES more. However, it can sometimes be awkward when I have to introduce whoever is with me to someone whom I can only recall by face.
That is why as much as possible, when someone is being introduced for me for the first time, I try to engage him/her into a small talk just so I could remember bits and pieces about him/her.
It will be easier for me the next time around when I bumped into that person again.
And, seriously, wouldn't it be nice if your name is remembered?

Almost never forget a face. After 30 some years in the medical profession, I have seen 1000s and remember the majority even if I can't always put a name to them.
