Oh, pierced, definitely!
I know it sort of hurts, but it really feels like..hmmmm...well, kind of like a clothespin stuck on your ear, some pressure, and then it's done.
Clipons drove me NUTS! They pinched for hours and hours, and my ears would be tender for such a long time afterward! Plus, I had a hard time lining them up to get them even. I didn't have the problem with piercings.
Pierced ears are certainly worth the little bit of pain. In the long run, they will be much less bother.
In fact, after getting my ears peirced about 5 years ago, I did another set by myself--I keep little studs in them and wear my beloved chandies in the older holes. So much fun!

i used to have pierced ears but they closed and im waitng till i want to to get them piearced again so i use clip-ons but only when i feel like wearing any type of earings.

People still wear clip on earrings? I don't think you can even get them in contemporary styles. Also they could fall off.
