When I started dating my husband everyone said watch out for those spanish guys, the're controlling. He's not at all controlling. Why do people say this?

its just a typical sterotype. there are some that are that way. but there some white chinese indian german italian etc etc that are that way do. it all depends on the person, not the race they were born in.

Because they have no idea what they are talking about. Really, they have an experience with one or two guys and they think the whole group is the same. It's ignorant.
