YOU CAN NOT GET RID OF DIABETES
I SHOULD KNOW, I HAVE TYPE II....

You can't get rid of diabetes, it's there for life. And if you don't listen to your doctor, your life won't last very long. Diabetes can cause all sorts of problems, especially since the biggest one is being over weight.

Obesity can cause Type II Diabetes, sleep apnea, congestive heart problems, pedal edema, arthritis, degeneration of spinal discs, and many more. I should know, I've had EVERY problem I listed here, and a few more.

In December of 2004, I weighed in at 400 pounds. Since then I have lost 120 pounds through diet and excercise. Cut down on breads and ALL flour-based foods, ABSOLUTELY NO flour-based foods after 6 pm, and cut down on starchy foods like rice, beans, bananas, potatoes, and corn - starch becomes sugar in the body.

IF YOU LISTEN, AND FOLLOW THIS - you WILL lose weight, get control of your diabetes, feel better, and live longer.

At this time I am now only diet controlled, and my blood sugar averages at 110 - 125. I walk a mile every day, and I'm glad to be alive...

No you can't get rid of it. THERE IS NO CURE. That answer above that said it is curable! Blah! People like us who have it KNOW that there is no cure.

It is a case of you keeping it under control which is NOT all that hard if you really want to avoid serious health risk.

There is enough info around - the internet or out there in the real world to help you. Start now before it is too late.

WELL I don't think you can get rid of it, but you can control it. If you can figure out what foods are your trigger foods and avoid them, and also get on a 6 meal eating schedule.. high protein and low sugar. Eat 6 small meals and make them whole grain, high protein and veggie. This may help you control it where you don't need insulin. Also, I have heard that Cosco has come out with this new all natural drink that may cure them. not sure about it yet however.. I hope this helps
