It actually may encourage the bad yeast. There is good yeast and bacteria and then the kind that causes yeast infections. Too much douching or soaking in baths may make things worse, not better

I have heard of vinegar in bath water before but, I have not tried it yet as every time I take antibiotics I seem to get the yeastie beasties as my doctor calls it. I have used oatmeal in bathwater and had positive results, as has drinking cranberry juice and using over the counter yeast medicine but, The one little pill the doctor gives me works the best and the quickest. Oh, if this is your first yeast infection or your not sure take a trip to the doctors to make sure.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMCs1
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

OMG, no, that is the worst. You need to start consuming lemon....
Yeast infections are caused when the body gets too acidic. You have to lower the acidity to make it inhospitable to the yeast. Avoid vinegar, sugar and starches.
Lemon is the only citrus fruit that is actually a base. Get some lemon oil and put in your drinks if possible. Lemon tea, lemon juice on fish, crab....whatever....if you can get some essential oil of lemon you can use less of it as it is stronger. If you have fresh lemons you need to use them a lot for the next few days.

You have two choices.
1. Go to Walmart and get a tube of ANTI-YEAST salve IF the infection is on the outside.
2. IF the infection is inside, see your doctor. In the meantime, drink plenty of buttermilk and ear yogurt. Both will help to replace the bacteria level in you system. Good luck. Pops

Have you ever cooked with vinegar and gotten it in a cut? Do you know what is gonna happen to you if you put vinegar on a sore " kitty cat?" That " kitty cat" is gonna be running around the bathroom stark naked screaming her head off! She's going to be screaming stuff her husband and/or children ain't never heard her utter before because that's going to be painful! Kinda like the time my brother caught crabs and shaved off all of his hair and sprayed raid on himself and then ran around his apartment screaming for a half an hour! It just ain't right!

Eat yogurt or other probiotic foods such as kefir. I make a garlic suppository and it works in one day. Take a peeled whole garlic clove (not nicked or cut) and place it in a thin layer of sterile gauze; make sure you either tie unwaxed dental floss or leave a long piece of gauze so you can remove it. Change it every 8 hours, and it should clear up in one day. This is cheap and safer than over the counter porducts.

Some people swear by vinegar and water douches. I don't know. I prefer a simpler 1 day method and prevention by eating lots of yogurt.
