Release, let go your anger, your stress, your worries.
Let go of your need to control and just be.
To let go is to stop fighting, sometimes letting the struggle go in favor of letting a higher power decide your fate.
To let go of the past can be to forgive some transgression, or to stop living with the pain of some loss.
To let go my inhibitions is to relax and go with the flow, whatever will be will be.

There are so many things that this could mean, but ultimately for me, to let go means to open my mind as well as my grip.

in my case it means to forget social restraint and start misbehaving - usually involves an extreme quantity of alcohol (haven't done that in a while)

OR
give up on someone, remove my influence, move on without them.
