Do you think that it will affect Favre's decision?

I don't think it will affect Favre's decision because Jags was very line-oriented. (As are the rest of the offensive staff.) The guys they'll promote to replace Jags are devoted to the same system, which will help because the line has been playing much better as the season has worn on.
The better the Packers can run the ball, the less pressure it puts on Favre to have to win the game by himself, which he's proven he can't do. He's at his best when he has a strong team around him, and that includes a strong running game.

Now that Favre has the completions record, probably the only reason he is still playing, he should retire. It would be in the best interests of the team. They need to develop a new QB and that will not be possible as long as Favre is still active. The team does not deserve to be put thropugh another ridiculous circus during the off season waiting on him to make a decision on whether he is returning. Cut him loose.

Favre doesn't care who coaches or else he would have traded or retired when Mike Sherman became coach and drove the Packers into the ground. Favre plays because he loves the game and if he still enjoys playing, and can physically compete, I say he is back for one more year.
