No one really knows, so I can't say. But from what I know, sometimes people who experience traumatic events at a young age become confused. This is just what I think from things I have heard before. I also don't know your whole life story, so it's really hard to say why. I find it unusual that both you and your sister are this way--I've never heard of more than one person in a family that were les/gay/bi or whatever. So maybe something happened to you and your sister when you guys were small that you can't remember, but it affected your mind. How much do you know about your dad? What was your mom like? The list goes on.

Okay, first of all please do not listen to anyone that tells you it is wrong to be bisexual or that you can "change." I can't stand it when people use the argument that God says being gay is wrong (there is no way for them to know what God thinks). Honestly, I don't have all the answers and I don't think anyone can honestly say that they do. I am gay. I believe that I was born gay and that it was God that wanted me to be gay. As for your question about your sister being a lesbian, there is some research that links sexual orientation to genetics. So it is possible that you inherited it from your family. As a gay man, I must admit that I don't understand bi-sexuality. However, just because I don't understand it, I will not judge you, just as a straight person should not judge either of us. Unless they have been in that persons' shoes, they have no idea what they are feeling or going through. First and foremost, being who you are is never wrong. I think the confusion you are feeling as to why you are bi-sexual makes it even more clear that you were born that way. Like you said, you have always been attracted to girls in pictures and TV and have been generally isolated for much of your life. As for myself, I can remember having an attraction to other guys starting around the third grade. I am now 20 and am feel very strongly that I was born gay. I want to apolgize for making the references to God when I don't even know what your beliefs are (I guess I let me beliefs slip in). The point is, embrace who you are. I truly believe that you were born bisexual. While it might not make sense to us as to why we are the way we are, we just have to accept it and believe that we are this way for a reason. Maybe someday it will all make sense, but until that day comes we will just have to run with it. Just live your life and be happy! Hope this helps.

the lack of love from a female from a very young age has caused you to crave that affection now. When you are older people seem to crave affection sexually...... Morally I would say stick to the guys, but thats for you and God to discuss. Im not one to judge.

I don't know what causes you to be attracted to people of both sexes. But I do know that having sexual relations with anyone (man or woman) except with your husband is wrong.

It'd just your biology, hun. That's the way you're body's wired.
And no, it's not wrong, you're so lucky! You have two whole genders in which to look for love, not just one like most people.
God bless.
