The compression of this engine depends on type of piston being used. Dish, Flat top or dome. Compression can run from as low as 6 1/2 to one up to 12 1/2 to one. You say high performance, does the engine use a Blower, Turbo charger. Nitrous, Pump gas, Racing fuel, Alcohol, or Nitro methane. If you have a factory stock high performance 350 engine, you can expect to see 220 to 240 psi compression.

I agree with the others, there is not enough information. all depends on certain information, what type of CAM does it have turbo, exaust, pistons everything can cause a difference.

we need the horsepower to know the answer.

my educated guess is 11.5:1.

This was when you could still get good gas from the pump.
