That's kind of like the coolest place in Hell. The first thing I would look at are violent crime rates. Tanzania and Uganda seem to have very low violent crime rates. You can forget Uganda, which, despite these numbers, is basically in a civil war and dealing with the spillover from the genocide in Sudan. So, go with the corruption, disease and drought in Tanzania. Unless you live in Washington D.C., I'd just stay where you are.

Mr S and The Gonk i take it you have not travelled to Africa, i don't think you should be making any un-informed comments because it's very clear to me you are both very ignorant of that part of the world.
Good places to visit is Tanzania and Keyna during the great animal migration that takes place every year, Egypt for it's history,South Africa for it's natural beauty.

I would say Morocco, South Africa, or Egypt, but those are just the countries I know something about. I want to go to Egypt but my grandma has been there and she said that there are a lot of problems over there. Morocco is beautiful, and i know some people from south africa, so they love it, and my french born french teacher was raised in Algeria.

In east africa and a good country is Tanzania,and the place Is near by Lake Tanganyika,
where by you stay near the chimpazee,monkey and animal like us during the evolution stage from gollirra to human being,

I will say Ghana.You can party all day until you have no $$ left.Ghana is a democrat country and there's little or no discrimination against foreigners.The discrimination is among the natives themselves.Good beaches,great night life and amazing tourist sites.

I would choose Ghana.
Reasons are personally the language (English), the low rate of common criminality, the plenty of water and food, the mood of the inhabitants, the weather.
