Try "Hand Quilting with Alex Anderson." I don't hand quilt, but her beginner book for machine quilters was excellent. It's a thin book with six projects, and relatively inexpensive. You could also try a book by Jinny Beyers called "Quiltmaking by Hand." She's an incredible quilter who does all of her quilts by hand. Check out their websites as well.

the selection one thank you to learn the fundamentals, ie rotary slicing, matching seams, is to take a beginners class at your close by cover save. i think of the duvet in an afternoon sequence by utilising Eleanor Burns is an incredible thank you to commence quilting. Her Log Cabin development is amazingly ordinary and her books have lots and various pictures. reliable success and happy Quilting :)
