***Personality!***
A person who has a sense of humor, who is a delight to be with, who shows wisdom and good judgment, someone who has self-respect, and walks with dignity --- that person becomes "beautiful", even if they're only "average-looking".
Life can be rough. Better to spend it with someone of substance. Money can come and go; a terrible accident could maim a person's looks for life. But, ahhh! if they have a personality, and character, that will last a lifetime, and perhaps, beyond.

If I had to choose, I'd pick personality in a partner, over looks.

You have to go by personality first, cause why would you want to be around someone who was boring or annoying or whatever. Plus they go hand in hand, good people look more attractive then people whos personalities suck. Example: look at an ex-boyfriend. Semmed hot at the time but then you dated, found out he was an asshole, and now you look at him and think, goodness I thought that was attractive?
Eye of the beholder therory.

Personality, cause beauty is only skin deep, and I have seen some good looking people that are so into themselves that it makes them ugly, however I have met some not so good looking people that have a wonderful sense of humor and are the most beautiful people you could ever meet, because they care about someone besides themselves.

don`t we all know by now that looks fade? Well, unless you live in LA I guess, there you`ll look like your forever in your 20s if you have enough money...
So when it comes down to it, I would take personality anytime. Someone that makes you laugh, tells you stories, listens to you, lets you vent.....and so on (the list is long).
I am fortunate enough to have someone in my life that is both hot and is my best friend!

in the long run personality should overrule looks... however I am a firm beliver that you need to be attracted to someone. I know it may sound shallow, but if I am not initially attracted to someone, I really don't want to get to know them. Hey.. life is short.. I want the best of both worlds. Is that wrong?

For me, looks is a 10- character is a 8 and money is a 6. after all, commonly its the appearance that entice you to the guy interior the 1st place, maximum surprising? Secondly, character is intense on the size for the reason that i does no longer date a handsome guy who's a jerk. finally, money isn't on a intense scale, yet i could % my husband to be to blame in retaining a activity and paying the fees.
