When you log on to Yahoo answers and the door bell keeps ringing and people keep calling on the phone. No, they don't want to talk to you...they want your mom, your dad or your brother, and none of them is at home?

My phone line and computer line are the same, so all they get is my phone ringing, if they want to talk to me, they will call back.
And, I don't get a lot of people knocking on my door, but my daughter knows where and how to find me if I don't answer my phone, she comes into Y/A and goes to my Answers and she can see when I posted the last one, then she sends me an e-mail. She catches me every time. lol

While you are on Yahoo Answers and you are the only one home, put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and let the answering machine answer the phone calls.

It would greatly annoy me except that I let my answering machine screen all calls, and my doorbell doesn't work! I know what you mean, though!

im in the back of the house so everyone else gets to it before me so i dont worry about it but if no ones here it can get annoying,
