I am trying to think of what to do for my wife for Christmas, and I'm not sure what to get her, she tells me that all she wants from me is for us to be able to spend time together, or get her a gift of jewelry or clothes?

Personally I really don't want anything other than for her and I to be able to spend time together.

That is so simple you better find a nice romantic place to spend the weekend. A nice hotel, not a sleezy one. Or a cottage, bed and breakfast. If that is too much, tell everyone that you are going out of town for the weekend, unplug your phones, and hide out at home. I think she was pretty clear, if you do take your vacation at home, you can still buy her a nice piece of jewelry wit \h the money you saved. But make sure you won't be bothered by people trying to reach you. For all intennts and purposes, you're out of town for the weekend. Happy Romantic Holidays.

Treat her to a day at a spa... or a couples massage that way you are spending time together but she is still getting the pampering she deserves and you can get a gift certificate or make up a card that says which spa package you got her to go under the tree... do not be fooled she wants a gift to unwrap.

You answered your own question. Spend time together, have dinner and enjoy each other. How often do you do that. Spend time with each other sounds great. Merry Christmas!

That's nice. I think it would be a symbolic gesture to give her something personal and from your heart. Something engraved maybe. Even a blanket w/ a personalized message or a locket w/ your wedding picture inside.

sounds like a nice wife. she'd be happy just spending time with you so you can do just that. but she'll be very happy if you happen to do the others!

Uh, that's all sweet and all, but I suggest you get her a gift she can unwrap and then wrap her arms around you in gratitude!!
