Where should i go to meet boys my age? {15}?
I live in the ghetto but i dont nessisarily want a ghetto thug of a friend { or boyfriend}. I cannot seem to find any at all in my area. I have went to curches, skating rinks, bowling alleys and i cant find any and they are all immature!! Any suggestions?

What are your reasons for looking? At your age, there's a lot of sexual energy about and being with a boy can be very exciting. They don't always make good friends, though, and I've found that the more I looked for someone I liked, respected and actually enjoyed spending time with (after the novelty wore off), the more frustrated I got. I know that when I began to spend my energy enjoying my life and being me, guys began to notice me for the RIGHT reasons, because they like ME and not just my breasts or whatever, and better relationships came of it. The right one will come along, but I suggest you don't waste time looking for him. He'll be there when you least expect it! That's how it happend for me. And good for you for setting your sights higher than a "ghetto thug." It shows you have some self respect and you deserve better than someone who wants to use or exploit you. Finally, you have to learn to expect them to be immature and then accept it. They are different from us and they ALWAYS seem immature, even when they're old and grey.

Boys are nice but they shouldn't be the focus of your life. All it will do is cause nothing but heartache..you should go to these places because you want to go to hang out with friends not just to go pick up immature boys... the best boys will come along when you're looking somewhere else, like bowling alleys and skating rinks..just be patient grasshopper..just because you live in the ghetto doesn't mean that you have to settle for a ghetto thug with the oversized pants and fake jewelry...you deserve the very best.

The advise I learned the hard way is:
Stop looking so hard. Find a hobby, and develop yourself in area that interest you. Go to School, join a club... chances are the guy you want is doing something you have as a common interest! A guy wants a girl that isn't so insecure and looking too hard. That's a sure way to drive them away! Nurture yourself, and love yourself.
