I have a 2.4 wifi connection connected to my Verizon DSL line.

I have (4) 5.8 Ghz phones, all connected to the same phone jack (Uniden system, base and 3 handsets), and all othe phone lines (Sat TVx2) connected throug DSL filters.

Whenever I make or receive a call, the DSL drops out. The WiFi connection stays on, but the DSL drops. I end up having to reset the DSL (Westell) modem after nearly every call. Rarely (1 of 10) a DSL will not drop, and I can continue fine.

Any ideas?

One or more phones, faxes, answer machines, etc. are not filtered. Or you may have lots of unused jacks in your home, or poor inside wiring.

Better bet: Run a "home run" line from your phone interface outside your home. Stick a spliiter there. Put a filter in one side and re-connect the house wiring to the splitter. Run a dedicated line to the DSL modem from the other side of the spitter.

Contact Verizon. Sounds like the connection filters for your phone line is not working right.
