lol...it's just puberty kicking in...you should read "Dave Barry is NOT making this up" : he has some really funny stories about how his son was going through puberty and how it affected Dave, it's a hilarious book.

I have a 12 year old that is getting to that age. He's asking more questions and getting curious about other things. The thing with the magazine is normal. Just be happy that he's not sneaking porn into the house. Once it gets the that point you know you have a problem.

Oh yeah it's very normal. My son is doing the same thing now. He is 12 yrs old. He started "looking" at about 10. Congrats, on your boy starting manhood, try to tak to him about it. Mine wouldn't say a darn thing to me and I could tell he was too embarrassed to tak to "mom" because I'm a "girl". If you are with his father, it's time for the talk. I am not so I called dad and informed him. If not there's always grandpa or coach, or his doctor. Happy Holidays.

Very normal. Don't embarress him by taking them away and freaking out on him or anything. Just put them back where you keep them or throw them away. But don't be surprised if he's waiting for the mailman for your next subscription. Hey, its better than him looking at those nasty mags that are out there. Don't even let him know that you know. He'll grow up sooner or later. At least he's checking out beautiful women and not those disgusting women in hustler or something.

LOL-been- here done this! Yes, it's normal. No, don't ask for them back. If you want to order, you can go on line for their web site. Yes, let him look at them. The girls' are covered up as much as they would be on the beach. Congratulations, Mom. Your boy is on his way to becoming a man.

This is perfectly normal, you don't want them back! :) You probably need to have the sex talk with him and teach him how to use a condom. (You don't want any grand babies.) Maybe dad should do this. All boys use catalogs like Victoria's secret. Just be thankful he is using them to experiment with and not his girlfriend.

don't question him on the magazines but since he looks at your reading material, maybe leave a booklet on safe sex inside on of the catalogs. the kids probably masturbating to the images and that is normal. you dont mention a father in this post? so if there is no father to talk to him, then provide reading materials on sexual develpment as a boy in the mist of sexual sevelopment doesnt likely want to talk to his mom.

He's probably embarrassed to talk about these things. Even if you try to talk to him about it there is still that possibility that he is just going to be like "ewwww mom do we have to talk about this." Also just try to talk it out and let him know that you know what is going on and that its ok if he has questions. They have to kind of get to know themselves and develop. Every thing happens for a reason i guess.

This is very normal...he is growing up!! This is something that the father needs to handle...he has been there and done that!! If the father is not involved, than I have "the talk" with him.
