Last time I was there (12 years ago) the crowd was pretty sketchy. I was concerned about looking at someone too long for fear of retribution. That's bad. Plus, it was filthy. I haven't been back since. Maybe I'm too paranoid.....?

I worked there last year and it was rather fun. Nobody causes problems there. I know what you mean about the whole sketchiness from about fifteen years ago, but all of that is gone. I guess since the whole popularity of gangs was in the early to mid ninety's, but people have moved on. No need to fear any longer about that.

That's really sad you feel that way. It's perfectly safe. You are more unsafe going in your car on the way to the park. The park does have there own police department near the park just in case you are scared even though I don't know what for.

i'm in love with magic mountain, i've been there many times in the past few years. the first time i was there was only 10 years ago so i dont have anything to compare it to, but i've always felt safe there. and it doesn't seem dirty now.
if you end up going, you should totally ride X. its the best roller coaster i've ever been on.

I go all the time, and I have never seen anything unsafe, like public fighting. I would say that it safe.

If a rollercoaster is unsafe, they fix the problem or shut it down REALLY quick. No one like lawsuits, so rollercoasters are REALLY SAFE.
