Every year I do something funny as a gift for my nephew. One year, I wrapped a litterbox and put a video game he wanted in the litter so he had to dig to get it out. I'm having a hard time coming up with something this year. I would like some ideas that I can do at home or get somewhere without having to wait for shipment.

If you look around on eBay, you can buy empty Playstation 3 boxes. These are GREAT for wrapping presents in, especially if the real present is a pair of argyle socks. :-P Happy Holidays!

Are you looking for a gag gift or a creative way to give a genuine present? A creative wrapping idea is to 1) Create a treasure hunt. 2) "hide" the item in plain site...see how long it takes for your nephew to ask about it. 3) Based on size of item, consider putting it in a pie tin or cake pan, and covering it, "decorating" it with whipped cream, sprinkles, etc. "Serve" it and ask your nephew to cut it. The item obviously should be wrapped in such a way that it is protected. Great gag gifts can be found at local costume shops, or magic shops. How about gag lottery tickets? They have them at most magic shops...every ticket is a winner. They are the scratch type tickets.

Treasure hunt...wrap the clues and have each clue lead to a new clue...then finally the gift was in the original spot he was in all along...or something like that.
