I like it, I only know one person named Holly. It is a very cheerful name and it sounds nice when said. I also like the middle (maybe because it is mine)! Congrats on the baby and good luck picking a name. My husband and I could not decide together so I had to make the decision!

i really like Rae, but i'm not so sure about Holly (don't know why)
what about Athena or Erin as a first name?
Good luck all the same, and don't pay too much attention to what others say about you choice of names cos if you and your husband both like it, then that is all that counts.

Since you have chosen to name a boy after husband...Have you thought of the child's Grandmother, a special Aunt or use both first or middle names from a special woman on both sides of your family. (yours and your husbands)
I named my first daughter after a special friend/sister and a name she kicked me on, each time that name was mentioned. My other was named after a grandmother and a friends daughter.
As for which name we put first...Again we went with how they sounded with our last name. For example... Elizabeth Renee Smith.
Do not be surprised if after picking the name...It does not fit the baby and a new name comes to mind that is just perfect.
No fears or worrying for now. Just enjoy all the ups and down of this pregnancy. This is the beginning of a life time of blessings for you, your husband and this special blessing.
God Bless you and your family.

I have two college roommates named Holly. We called one by her full name, "Holly Rae," to differentiate. I like it.
