San Antonio Tx to the California border on I-10 (climate, warm to hot 350 plus sunny days a year)(condition 1000 miles of Super Slab with NO FROST HEAVES OR SALT DAMAGE)(regulations-only 2 check points 1 in new mexico and 1 in arizona and they don't weigh they just look at your permit and wave you on)(density is ZERO if you bypass phoenix if not just plan your trip to miss urban drive time in Phoenix, remember this is 1000 miles of south west desert) now that Texas has rasied the daytime speed limit on the western side of I-10 you are good for 75 mph posted speed and 5 over gets you 80 mph cruise control the WHOLE WAY and with few 4 wheelers and great CB range no bad weather add to this the cheap hookers and truck washing and tank polishing in AZ around ELOY exit 200 , it CAN'T GET ANY BETTER- but as soon as you get into california the party is over ,55 mph only use far right lane ,but hole DOT cops that write you for anything and it is HIGH DOLLAR tickets too!
