a color screen is good, i would prefer flash based, so when i go do yard work and stuff, i cant corrupt the drive by shaking those heads around, i dont know why, but i try to keep my hard drive based players like the creative zen and the archos av500 still, i fear that sometimes ill break something, so is there anything that is small, neat, and kinda cool? i really hate ipods, i had one, and it was hell to transfer all my music into itunes, i have removed the itunes software and started using rockbox, which is awesome because my archos has USB host abilities. i sent the ipod back, now i got a good sum of money, what should replace my ipod, doesnt have to have ungodly ammounts of memory, just 2 or 4 gigs, i use the archos for all my videos. i was thinking the iriver clix, that thing looked neat.

the zune was nice, but had too many problems, the ipod was the biggest pain i have ever had to deal with, it took me days to load my mp3s into some jacked up format that only itunes will accept, so it tried to convert.

I think you should go for the sandisk e260 its great becuase it plays video, is flash based, cheap priced, and has a memory expansion slot so if you ever want more memory, they have 2, 4, 6, and 8 gb models
