Do you believe that prayers get answered??

my family....we all seem to be having a streak of bad luck....
prayers are answered,sometimes we don't get the answer we want

Yes, I do believe that prayers are answered in some way. Even if it isn't in the way that you wanted to be answered it will get answered. The last thing I prayed about was they my girlfriend will be okay and safe.

I prayed that my family stay healthy and live long and healthy lives. I also pray for more money (doesn't everyone) so I could buy a bigger house. And I pray for my family, and for there not to be any more terrorist.
I do think prayers get answered. You just have to believe and have FAITH :)!

I pray daily and constantly about thing's in my life and the people in it. To be honest with you, the last thing I prayed about, was asking my "Heavenly Father", to please allow the weather to be in clear driving conditions on January 8th, 2007 because we're going to St.Louis that day, to see Monday Night Raw live. I prayed because we received our tickets today and we're very anxious to go. We have to drive an hour and a half, to get there and if it's bad weather, we won't be able to make it and the only time you can get a refund, is if the show was cancelled, other than that, we would have bought the tickets for nothing. Do I sound selfish, by saying that?

I havent prayed for so long I dont remember. When my Grandpa had canceer I prayed for him everyday and it did not good. I dont believe in prayers. Im not sure if Im aithiest though.

My mother had a stroke and I prayed that she would come out of it alright, and yes prayers do get answered because my mother came out of the stroke AOK

Nothing, I'm an Atheist and I know that prayer is a complete waste of time.

My slowly declining health..and no I don't think they get answered because no situation I've prayed about has improved...but it's a good way to vent
