It irritates me so much! I try to make my tree look PERFECT. Martha Stewart perfect. But I see other people's tree's and it makes me so jealous! Especially the real ones! I have one of the big fake trees, and they are so crapy. URGGGH.

Oh, don't be upset. I know where you are comming from. I try to make my tree perfect, but someone else's always looks better than mine also! Just remember, there are some people who do not even have a tree to decorate, or even a home to put one in. Enjoy the tree that you have, knowing that you did your best. As far as Martha Stewart perfect, I don't think black and white stipes look good on a tree. LOL Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

If your into the perfect tree maybe you could keep a picture close at hand to go by. Maybe something off Martha's website or out of a magazine. If thats what you like.
Or just do your own thing. Have fun with it. Thats the magical thing about Christmas tree decorating. Every tree is different. Believe me others will love your tree. I hope this helps. Merry Christmas!

who says martha is perfect?
watch for after Christmas sales and get a new artificial tree that is full and has a LOT of branch points. every year we get new ornaments from loved ones and we put them ALL on the tree after we cover it in lights.... our 'fake' tree looks more real than 80% of the real ones i have seen and people even comment how nice it is, thinking it is 'real'. Cover the tree in things that have memories and are filled with Love... and don't try to measure up to any overachievers... make it YOUR tree!

You could plant a small $5 tree in your yard in the spring and it could be your outdoor christmas tree until you can buy a new one you like.
No worries, Christmas is NEVER like it is on TV. We've all had the bad christmas tree. It's better than nothing :)

Lol. I feel your pain. My tree always look like a 2 year old decorated it, no matter how much effort i put into it. So now, I just laugh and enjoy it. It doesnt really matter what it looks like. It is the feeling you get decorating it with your family that matters.
