The best gift of all is the whole reason for the season. Give them the gift of eternal salvation by trusting Jesus Christ as their savior if they haven't already. That is the best gift of all. And if you aren't a believer in Jesus Christ then why would you celebrate Christmas then. From seeing the X makes me think you aren't a Christian since that marks out Christ. Do either of them collect anything or have hobbies. For example if the mother does crafts, get her a gift certificate to Joannes fabrics or a hobby store like Micheals.
