I know the girls in magazines wear makeup, but it seems that their skin is flawless.Perfectly pink cheeks and perfect skin. When I have a zit and i try to cover it up, you can still see it. Is there a way to get flawless skin like them?

If you want flawless skin, do the following:

1. drink lots of water and stay away from soft drinks.
2. use a good gentle cleanser and exfoliation pad to clean your face every morning and evening.
3. Eat healthy - lots of green and orange vegetables
4. Take a good multivitamin with A, C, E
5. Do a deep cleansing masque twice a week
6. Use a toner and a light moisturizer on your face
7. Get your beauty sleep

In the magazines unfortunately, the pictures have been airbrushed and retouched. That's not to say however that they didn't have great skin to start with. A healthy skin care routine is the key to keeping your skin beautiful and looking it's very best. At the least, this consists of cleansing, gentle exfoliation, toning/refining, moisturizing, and protecting/renewing the skin on a daily basis. There's not a model alive who skips these basic steps. Of course there are a million other things you could do your skin, but this is where you start. Feel free to contact me if you'd like some recommendations for your specific skin condition.

The stuff they do to those models' skin makes their skin even less flawless than it already is! They airbrush it with the person's skin tone. It makes your skin look smooth. But don't try it! It hurts your skin terribly! Just wash the zit 3 times a day with just regular soap and water. I almost garauntee that it will disappear within a week!

They do not have "perfect" skin. Make artists use a heavy "pancake" make up to cover all imperfections. The photo is airbrushed to eliminate any imperfections not covered by the makeup.

Eat right, drink lots of water is the best way to prevent an occasional outbreak. If your skin is always broke out-you may want to consult your doctor or dermatologist.

some use make-up i know and it is still hard for u to cover the zits for u and the girls in the magazine. I have a cousin who models in the magazine. And she had a zit on her face the day she had to model. I asked her, "How r u goin to model with that zit it wont be covered up by make-up." Then my cousin said, "The secret is, they paint over it with thick paint that is my skin colour. U can get it from make-up or department stores it is a special kind of paint." So get the paint to cover your zits.

Just to add to what has already been said, airbrushing is a makeup technique where liquid makeup is applied to the skin using a device that is used to "airbrush" paint etc. There are at home airbrush makeup kits, if you really want a certain look. Do a Yahoo search for it...And the only picture of me with perfect skin is the avatar next to my screenname lol.

Just as the first 2 people said, none of the pictures in magazines are actually the way the person looks in real life. They take a picture of the REAL person then modify (airbrush) it to perfection.

Either, they have gone on Accutane (which makes your skin flawless and like a 6 year old child with amazing skin) and/or they airbrush themselves

Top ad agencies spend big bucks on makeup artists who "enhance" a girl's natural attributes. And what they can't cover up or camoflage, an experienced photo editor can, with modern computer imaging technology. Yeah, if you don't have "perfect" or "flawless" skin, and you can afford that kind of makeup artist, you can emulate what you see in the magazine layouts. Tell y'what, though - there's lots more important things to spend your money on...

Although i am sure these girls are very pretty and are close to perfect there is no such thing and there is a program called adobe photoshop that can make a beast look like a beauty.
