You should talk to your OB-GYN. Birth control helps regulate periods and also helps with cramps and other symptoms of pms. That's why I take it.

i know exactly how you feel,i've had the same problem for a year and the docs are now finally doing something about it.I've been for scans, blood tests, you name it,they've done it.I even went back on the pill which was a waste of time as my husband has had a vasectomy and the pill did'nt even help.
My new doctor had put me on Primolut N, which is used to treat irregular, painfull or heavy periods. It is NOT a contraceptive so you will need to take other forms to stop you getting pregnant.Got back and ask your doctor about this, hopefully they'll put you on it and this should help get your periods back on track.Good luck

Your OB/GYN would be the best person to diagnose your condition!
However, the condition of anemia and irregular periods with obesity strongly indicate some Thyroid conditions too.
Better to have a chat with the doc!

I am 25 and if I wasnt on birth control, i would probably only get 4 periods a year. SOme people are just wierd like that.
Try BC...it will make you get it. It is nice to expect it, you know?

Yes, as long as you are not pregnant, you can take birth control pills to even out your periods and cycle them for you. I would recommend it.
