Why "were" I think they still are rebelling against this war we are in now. But what rebelling are you refering to?

They are too simple minded to understand basic political science and grade school level geography.
Tis better to crush the Islam extremists by mowing them down in a flat, sweepable place like iraq in a matter of less than a decade than to wait and fight them in all of their mountainous or jungled countries while we pay the price for centuries.
