Yes, some teachers may be guilty of playing favorites. Even some parents are guilty of this without even realizing it. I take it you are the one who has been dealt with unfairly. My advice would be to speak to this teacher after class. Don't be confrontational or pout, but just ask him or her frankly, if there's anything you can do to improve your grades or attitude, since you've noticed that she doesn't give you the proper credit for your work, seems to ignore your best efforts, gives you low grades, or whatever it is that is bothering you. The fact that you care enough about your learning progress to ask her about it, should prove to her that you're sincere and that you want to make an effort to improve, if necessary. It could be she doesn't even realize that she's showing favoritism, and may ask you for examples. Just be truthful and up front, without bashing any of the "favored" students. Sometimes clearing the air is all it takes for a teacher to really notice you for the first time. If you do put forth your best efforts and you feel you're being graded unfairly, you may have to go over her head, and speak to the principal. But there again, don't be accusatory -- just be honest and sincere. Good luck!

It would depend on the extent of the problem. If there were clear and definite examples of mistreatment, I would speak to the teacher, then the principal, the superintendent and even if necessary the school governing board. If this did not work, I would consider removing the child from that school system and either home schooling to enrolling them in a different school nearby. If more than one student is involved, you might want to try talking to the other parents as well.

coaching has substitute into progressively greater difficult in the process the previous couple of years, as instructors are further and extra constrained in what they'd and could no longer do interior the lecture room, jointly as scholars get greater uncontrolled and extra and extra criminal judgements pass against instructors, giving teenagers in some aspects almost infinite administration of the lecture room. the consequence is anarchy, and that may no longer a solid subject. There are impressive instructors in impressive faculties, who're supported by using robust minded mothers and fathers. yet this occasion is chanced on much less often each year. i'm sorry for the lecturers, and for the scholars, by using fact interior the long-term, the attitude and stipulations in lots of lecture rooms in the present day mean that scholars are no longer getting the preparation they're going to would desire to administration the following day's international. purely study a number of the Yahoo entries from scholars, and you will see that there has been a distinctive decline of their frequent of English. Plus the very undeniable fact that they are purely approximately asking human beings to do their homework for them. there's a huge difference between inquiring for help, and purely inquiring for an answer.

The students parent needs to take this first to the principle and if they get no results, the next step is to the school board, filing a formal complaint will get the ball rolling

Observe the student he or she like and copy them, if your stomach can stand this. Find out if they are relatives first because if they are, then you get painfully obvious.
It helps if you are really smart, teachers give a lot of leeway to the smart ones.
If you ace the tests, they automatically respect you.
