Yup- I remember the first time, I was like "This isn't worKING" *squeak*. It was so funny :) LOL, I have quite a low voice, so it sounded so weird.
Don't do it too often though, if you do it heaps it can lead to brain damage. But that's if you're inhaling ridiculous amounts, like Karen...

My nineteen year old daughter loves helium balloons! Not because she likes to look at them, but because she likes to suck in the helium and sound like Mickey Mouse. It's such a kick to her. But I worry that it may not be a good idea for her to do that and try not to buy them.

Yes I have, it has a lower molecular weight, and the voicebox makes a high pitched sound. Note: Be careful not to breath too much helium, it can eliminate the oxygen from your breath and you won't be able to breath.

yes. for this graduation party, I was given the task of blowing up about 1000 balloons, and they gave me a TANK of helium. my friend and I were laughing our butts off.

I've done it before & I liked it! Made my voice sound soo funny. You're guaranteed to get some laughs!

My friends and I did it many years ago- it's kinda funny. You sound like the munchkins on Wizard of Oz. Don't know what they say about the long term effects- so wouldn't recommend it.
