You know something, I think people insult others, to make themselves feel bigger, but in all actuality, they're just making themselves look even smaller, than what they already are. You tell this to the person, that is always insulting you and I bet you, the insults, will slowly stop.

if it's a male, just say "you must be over compensating for a small penis by insulting me all the time"
if it's a girl say "I know why you are so hateful. it's not because you hate me, it's because you hate yourself. you developed at an early age and that made you popular. the only way you were able to stay popular is by having sex with everybody so they will like you. when your body is all used up at 19, you know that there will be nothing left for you to like, and because of that, you take it out on me rather than face your own problems."

perhaps he secretly admires you and is autistic. sometimes people try to take attention away from there own inadequacy's by hurling insults or making fun of other people .as far as saying something to this person ,I dont know. try to become friends by finding out what his problem is .He is obviously confused about his own insecure feelings. Why else the constant insults? good luck with lurch.

A lot of people have told you to just ignore them, but i have been where you are, and i know that is not the solution. I liked a wwe divas answer best. I think you should go with that.

I have that problem with one of my class mates and usually if you insult them worse, and louder they back down because they are embarrassed and know you can stick up for yourself!

Why say anything? Ignore him completely. Don't answer him. Don't look at him. Pretend he doesn't exist. If done right, you can almost walk through him. And it's pretty funny for your friends to watch, too!
