UMO is looking not so good. They always have good goalies, but what happened to getting championship teams?

I don't know, College hockey is a trip, I think it's in the coaching

Well, first there is no such thing as the University of Maine at Orono.

To answer your question, college hockey has become a lot more competitive since the Black Bears were 42-1-2 in 1992-93. There are more teams, and winning a championship requires not only good players but luck. You need a lot more luck to get through a lot more teams these days, as the playoffs have grown with the growth of the number of teams. It's a single-elimination playoff system.
