I agree. I think this relationship is very devious. The US has been supporting Isreal since it's formation, but the reasons for it have changed over the decades. The US is not interested in overthrowing their government, as has been the case in countless other countries. They need a friend in the Middle East to assist with military power and provide a staging ground for making war on Arab countries. During the Isreal war on Lebanon this summer, the US offered and provided shiploads of weapons to help Isreal with the battle. These included cluster bombs which are a humanitarian nightmare. The US has never had honourable intentions in it's entire history - just ask a Native American. Look at the facts: who has the most nuclear weapons in the world? Who has the most biological and chemical weapons? Who has interfered in the governments of other countries to the point that they have helped militias overthrow democratically elected leaders? THE USA! Evil comes in every imaginable form, including that of Lady Liberty.

I don't understand why most people can't figure out that our culture is to blame. These mass murders want attention, therefore they do stupid shootings in gun free zones. Then of course for the kid that wanted attention the media comes in and talks about him for months on end. In the end these people get exactly want they wanted. Now most gun deaths in this country are gangbangers killing each other. Most other countries don't have the amount of gangs/gang members we do, so again therefore we have more shootings from them. And lets not forget that most of those killings are done with illegal firearms so again banning anything won't help that cause at all. John Stossel once did a report in a prison talking to convicts who were convicted of gun related crimes. Every single one of them didn't care what gun laws are passed because none of them listened to the laws anyway. And now we will move to CCW permits, every state that has passed CCW permits had its crime rates drop. So obviously more people with guns does make criminals thinks twice.

We've known all along they have nukes, and that a nuclear war in the region is bad for the rest of the world, not to mention the innocent populations that just want to go about their lives without idiots trying to prove who has bigger malke anatomy. We chose to fight this war for our own reasons. We even turned down Israel's offer of troops (they have provided intel). Most of US aid to Israel is spent in the US, providing jobs with defense contractors. Why don't you ask about the billions given to Egypt. Israel is our friend, Egypt is hostile to us. Over the years, Israel has provided us with info on weapons systems that would not have been available anywhere else.
