Am planning on a day trip to cameron highlands, and by Kancil. Has anyone done that, am worried abt the slippery road.

One question for you.
Do you think KANCIL will bring you up all the way to the hill top???
You know well about KANCIL car. What the pro and con of a KANCIL car can do.

Make sure the brakes and tires r Ok. Kancil can go to Genting Highlands what is Cameron .

a friend of a friend of mine said that his friend have tried a brand new 850cc (manual) Kancil to Genting Highland (not Cameron)without any problem. This is for reference only.
I was in Cameron during last Raya, and couldn't find many Kancils up there (or maybe none, I'm not sure). But I've seen a Naza Sutera climbing up the hill smoothly

Been to Cameron Highland and I find there are a lot of Perodua Kancil overthere. So should be ok coz the slope is not too steep
Slippery road? Not really.....But it's better you change your tyre if it's worn....cos it's not only only dangerous riding on it on the hilly land....normal road though.....

my friends done it twice, 5ppl in a kancil, 2 of them over weight.
you can use PLUS highway, after Ipoh town, there will be a big sign to cameron highland (new highway)
service and check your car b4 going.

Personally..its better to be safe than sorry ..coz if you mess up in between of the winding road..man you gonna be stuck there for awhile until some one is helpful enough, who will take you up to the Tanah Rata..
My advise..if you gonna go and spend a holiday..a holiday means holiday and wont be any great about your holiday if happens to be your car break has worn out and your spouse or who ever travelling with you..keep on nagging, whining and bla..bla..bla...
My friend...its better to go and get other car...case closed!

i think its OK to go up by kancil. i go up to Cameron highlands using Toyota , Honda or KIA

nope...i dont think so... the road is slippery plus.. wif 660 cc/850 cc, u wont get to the peak... kancil will smoke a lot.
