actually i already look on wikipedia and couldn't find what i needed, plus, i am not just looking for a quick answer, i am trying to study for an exam for tomorrow, but thanks anyways

I know you're probably looking for a quick answer, but I'm not going to just hand it to you. Wikipedia probably has everything you are looking for. (Your history book probably would, too.)
