read, takes notes, read your notes back to yourself out loud. That way you are using more senses, and your more likely to remember it. In reading your notes back to yourself, you will see if you really understood what you just read.

the anticipation method, and memorization. Anticipate the test questions, research and answer the questions, on paper...so you understand them, and the memorize the questions and the answers. This is an especially great method for essay tests, because generally you can walk into a test with an essay prepared and leave 15 minutes later with an A. You also tend to have more information than is necessary which is impressive and helpful if you have a question you didn't anticipate and have to bullish your way through. It is less obvious that way, cuz clearly if you have all that memorized data...you studied...easy A!

That really depends on you. I like to wait until the last minute so everything is fresh in my mind. I pull out my notes and read through them. It helps to write things down, even if you already have notes on them. For some reason, there is a connection between writing it down and remembering it.

do short reviews daily and then maybe once a week do a weekly review........try to review within 24 hours.......even right after class
