Bush became on no account ever awol yet Cheney have been given a gaggle of deferments. asserting Bush went awol is like asserting Obama's no longer a US citizen. Its stupid and thoroughly untrue yet scandalous.

It actually kind of gets me annoyed that the President has never explained his drug use to the public. Imagine what kind of inspiration it would be to folks out there with substance abuse issues to know that you can do as much coke as say......Tony Montana and still right the ship in time to grow up to be president of the United States.
Now regardless of what you may think of the job he is doing as President, you still gotta be impressed by anyone who makes it there. I'm even more impressed by Bush because Bill was only smoking weed while Bush was from all accounts a lunatic partier into lots of things.
I think it would be helpful for his supporters to find out more about his past. It might loosen some of them up a bit. It's as if they don't want to acknowledge that Mr. Bush existed in any form aside from the tea-totaler he is today.Why? If the stories are true, don't you want to know?

Yes, Bush admitted that he inhaled. The American public forgave him. Clinton lied when he said he never inhaled & the American public was asleep at the ballet box. Even the tabacco crowd knows about 2nd hand smoke.

They were trying to get in touch with Ted Kennedy to see if this was the way to get started in politics, but he was too busy leaving his pregnant girlfriend to drown in Lake Chappaquiddick.
Last time I checked they were still with the same wives they started out with, and haven't been molesting, assaulting, or screwing anyone else at the White House, or at any other location.
They also own their own companies (unlike the Kennedys or the Clintons) and not one of their friends has committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head.
