It seems like, to me, that fashion is going back in time. The 80's are very in now. Also, things that look very old to me are in. Like Sperrys and Vera Bradleys. Really. Sperys look like shoes for OLD MEN! Why is that desireable?

It is just history repeating itself. This has been going on since the beginning of time, and it will never change! Just wear what makes YOU feel good, and what you like. If you think Sperys look like old man shoes, then don't wear them. The best fashion statement you can make is to look good in what you wear, but to feel good in it as well. Good luck!

Fashion has a way of repeating itself. It has been doing that forever. It changes a little, but it keep comming back. It keeps us spending money because it keeps changing. It was low rise pants were all the rage and then high waisted ones are comming back. It is just about when everyone gets rid of all the clothes of an era then it comes back in style.

Retro-this & Retro-that. It is true, as fashion almost always repeats itself. So does history.
The fashion industry does how ever try and tweak it up abit. There are some fashion statments that should never have hit the streets at all. The "trendy" stuff comes and goes, but the true classic, reliable, clothing apparral hangs in there.

dude i dont know. so i music and movies right?
we are having a lot of remixes.
but i dont mind. its all new to me. and i like it.
like people in the 80s listend to the 60s music, and i am guessing wore those styles? but maybe not..being as the 80s have a style of their own.
i think it is an inperation to designers. to reovate the old styles and make them stylish again.

You know it is really weird because I asked the same question and everyone said because if someone has know more fashion ideas then go back in time and bring it back!!!

i think people admire the 80's because it was a really great decade of music and movies that made alot of people happy.the fashion was so great that people decided to bring it back to make more money with teens. i love the 80's clothes and i also love madonna.
