I need help with buying a pressie for my bf..he is smart, outgoing and so into computer stuff and cars especially. I've asked him outrite what he wants but he said he doesn't want anything.... I want to really surprise him, pliz help????

even if it sucks...
i personally find it amusing to receive gifts that are chosen by the person.
(no influences on the decision making for picking gifts)...
i kinda like seeing what it is others think i *might* like, you know?

Is there maybe a place where you can get him specialized items for his car hobby? Around here there is a place that sells things for car buffs. If you have a store like that, maybe get him a gift certificate for the store, or go in and ask the staff working there what is the latest or coolest thing for a car buff.

Order him a teddy bear from the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. You can still get it to him if you place your order by December 22nd. They have a cute one of the homepage right now, but you can pick the color and type of bear you want, what you want it to wear, etc. They also come in a very cute traveling box and are collectible.

Get something that brings back memories or inside jokes because wants come and go but memories last. For my brother I got him wooden spoons, a locker and antibacterial hand soap. Walmart has some gift packages. Also this site has some really good ideas: http://www.gifts.com/

Get him something that is personalized for HIM. Do the stocking thing, and fill it full of all the things he likes: a pair of boxers YOU like, his favorite candy, some specially burned cd's with his favorite tunes on them for different "moods". Make it something he will never forget!! You can also do the coupon book thing... a coupon for 10 minutes of massage, or to wash his car for him, or to buy him dinner, or whatever he likes and spends money on regularly....
just make it HIS from YOU!!!

guys are notoriously hard to shop for just because of this.
Take him shopping, if he doesn't like to do that, make an excuse and say you need help picking a present for someone else, preferably someone with the same interests as he. Then notice what he picks out!

well i was thinkin maybe u can get him a really nice model of a car (u no like collecters or somethin) or maybe a poster, that always works. an chocolates good anytime. (maybe it can b chocolate in the form of a car, eh?)
