Books... I love the smell and texture and feel. This is probably a poor choice, as I'm sure computers would weather better... but aesthetics rule my world....

Books. You can read anytime, anywhere. You can't do that with computers. You have to have electricity for one thing and if you want to do anything besides play games or write stuff, you need an Internet connection. Books will never become outdated or get a virus or need more software. They are full of wisdom, adventures, love, hatred and every other thing you can imagine. Books, simply put, are irreplaceable.

I'd like the books, please. They are my friends.
Without books the development of civilization would have been impossible. They are the engines of change, windows on the world, "Lighthouses" as the poet said "erected in the sea of time." They are companions, teachers, magicians, bankers of the treasures of the mind, Books are humanity in print. -Arthur Schopenhauer , philosopher (1788-1860)

computers. because with all the computers in the world, you would have all the e-books on there somewhere. move forward, not back. And books are limited, whereas computers would be nearly limitless.
