basically they are moles. Most people have them next to their lip like cindy crawford but smaller. Or marks on your face that are darker and slightly bigger than a freckle.

Beauty marks are either round or heartshaped usually black either above the lip towards the side or on the cheek towards the upper side by the cheekbone. Became popular in Europe during the French Renaissance Period and somewhat during the Roaring Twenties Flapper Period.

Most beauty marks are small brown spots located on a womans face, normally above the upper lip. I personally do not like them, and and thankful that I don' t have one, but a lot of people like them. Also, several people that have them, almost always have them removed.

marks on your lip or above the lip. remember any mark just anywhere on the face is not beauty mark.
