When you power on your computer before the BIOS start, your video card configuration will show up first at the top right hand corner.
Mostly it has only 2 lines, the top line is the brand and model of your card and the second the memory size.
If you can't see this information because it happend too fast, you can check it in your display properties in your control panel.
That it if your card driver is installed correctly.

Press Start --> Run.
Then type in "dxdiag" without the quotation marks.
Then click on the "Video" tab at the top. (Should be 3rd from the left)
Then look at "Approx. Total Memory" and it would tell you how much memory it has.
