which holes for which wires? Green is marked but that it.

Green = Earth
Red = Active, Positave or + (can also be a brown cable)
Black = Neutral, Negative or - (can also be a blue cable)

4 holes usually the green is marked and there will be one either marked "loop" or semi covered over. Don't use this one as it is only used when you are working the 1 light off 2 switches.

The other 2 holes can have either the red or black in, it does not matter to the light.

usually the wire colors are white, black, green. White is the neutral, black is the hot. In your case use black for the power (hot).Attache it to the terminal that is attached to the center of the socket. Attache the red to the terminal attached to the spiral part of the socket (neutral). you need to make sure the plug is wired with the red to the bigger (white colored) prong.
