Yes, it is possible that you are pregnant. It is also possible that there is a different problem. Have you taken a home pregnancy test? That is where I suggest you shoudl start.
Your fertil period is about 14 to 20 days after the first day of your period. So if you started your period so 10/10/06 you would be fertil around 10/24/06. This would put you at about 8 to 9 weeks pregnant. If in fact you are pregnant.
My daughter had her period the last week of october, and she is now 8 weeks along. I am expecting my first grandchild.
If this is good news that you could possibly be pregnant - CONGRATULATIONS. If this is not good news remember that there are options available to you. I would not recommend abortion (I believe life begins at conception) but it must be done early. Adoption is also a very good option.
So to summarize, start with a home pregnancy test and then go to see your doctor.
Good luck.

Well, that depends, which was it the middle or the beginning? If teh 1st day of your period started on Oct 1st then you probably ovulated sometime between Oct 10th and 14th which means you probably conceived in October. But if the 1st day of your period was Oct 20th, then you probably ovulated sometime between Oct. 30th and Nov. 13th which means you may have conceived in November.
Most women ovulated 10 to 14 days after the 1st day of their period. Some ovulated much sooner (days 6 through 10) some ovulated much later (days 14 through 20) for example. If your cycle generally is around 28 to 30 days long, you're probably closer to the 10-14 day range.

I had my last period on Oct 25th. I am 8 weeks tomorrow. So if you started your period earlier than that then you would be further along then me. They count from the start of your last period not from conception. I would think that you conceived in Oct.

Typically it is about 14 days after your the first day of your menstrual cycle that you start to ovulate. At that point the sperm meets the egg and you concieve. It varies from each women but that is a good estimate.

You can go to pregnancy.org. They have a pregnancy calander calculator. Simply type in the date of your last period and average length of days between periods. It will give you an estimated conception and due date.
