Why do boys always go for the looks?

Im not that pretty to boys at school they just wanna be friends with me but why do go for the looks and not the personaliteys thats how all of the boys are like in my school. If your gonna say something mean or rude then dont say anything at all

girl im in the same situation i have a TON of guy friends and they dnt want to go out with me. they go for looks cuz they have no respect for us. all they care about is looks boobs and butts. it just in their nature

It's biology. They're preprogrammed and don't even realize just how deep that programming goes. Eventually, they will grow up and realize that "looks" aren't everything. Until then, I'm afraid you're either going to have to suffer, find something else to focus on or try and figure out how to play their game (without demeaning or hurting yourself).
Until you hit high school (usually) or college or, just get out into the work force, life in school is just cruel and hard.
As a guy, when I was in school, I was almost 6 ft. tall, weighed less than 100 pounds and my parents couldn't aford to keep clothing on me. I was an easy target and when I graduated, I didn't go back until my twenty year reunion. I'd been voted the biggest loser in my graduating class. Nice huh?
Wanna hear something sweet? The football jocks that used to beat the snot out of me, and their cheerleader girl friends that always laughed at me... Well, they got married right our of high school and twenty years later, the guys were all fat, bald and dumpy. Talking about their great glory days. And their wives, were all checking me out and wishing... Don't worry, it'll all come back around eventually. Best of luck.

Not all guys are like that. my best friend is overweight and facially, well she is ugly as a dog. But she is one of the kindest people that I have ever known and her husband says the same thing. He has known her as long as me and in that time I watched them develop a friendship, a more serious and steady relationship, and then a marriage. He always said that he loved what he saw on the inside of her, that the outside did not matter. You will find that someone special too, do not worry.

I agree although not all boys are like that. Many boys go for pretty girls as many girls go for cute guys. It works basically the same way. Although Appearance is always said to not matter, but actually it does... especially for those who can't see past it. Don't worry about it. If they can't see you for personality, they aren't the ones for you. And besides, you never know, one might fall for you someday.

I'm in college and the same thing goes on they always run to the light skinned pretty girls and half of them girls are not cute but n e way after they realize that the pretty girls are either whores or gold diggers then they want to talk to u and by that time it's to late.

No, not all boys go for the looks. Yaa i appreciate that some of them have this habits just for attraction. Both boys and girls have this habits. As per my opinion, i always go for intelligence, smartness, good personality, nice behaivour, and lastly good look ofcourse. You too will appreciate for going for a good look in ur partner.

We all look for that X factor, boys and girls, men and women. I believe it's confidence. Good-looking people usually tend to be more confident so they usually get all the fish in the sea. Not always the case though. just target what you want and go for it with confidence! You don't always have to wait to be caught!
